Elena Gerhardt Accompanist Prize

June 2011 - On the 20th of June Cecily was awarded the Elena Gerhardt Accompanist Prize at the Royal Academy of Music in London for her interpretation of the piano accompaniment of a selection of German, French and English songs.

Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds

On 10th June Cecily was awarded a scholarship from the Dorrie Stoop Fonds and the K.N. Fonds of the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds to attend the Franz-Schubert-Institut in Austria together with mezzo-soprano Yvonne Kok. Thanks also to the Stichting Musici van Morgen and the Schubert Institute for their support.


On 11th June Cecily played her final exam recital at the Amsterdam Conservatory, graduating with an 8 (out of 10). She played Poulenc's sonata for oboe and piano (together with Paloma de Beer), Prokofiev's 2nd piano sonata and Haydn's piano concerto in G major, with Johannes Leertouwer and students.
